Privacy policy

Draft notice covering the Klips website, application, support and any future purchasing service. It must match the services actually enabled at publication.

Who is responsible.

Aqueduct, based in Kazakhstan, is responsible for processing carried out in the publisher's role. Contact [email protected] or write to Kazakhstan — postal details will be completed before commercial release.. A payment seller or storage provider may have a separate role and privacy notice.

Your images and recognized text.

Normal editing and Windows OCR take place on your PC. Capturing an image does not automatically send it to the publisher. When you explicitly upload, the chosen image goes directly to your configured S3 service. If you voluntarily send an image to support, it becomes part of that support correspondence.

Website visits.

The website is intended to use Cloudflare hosting. Request data needed to deliver and protect the site may include IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser headers and security signals. The exact enabled services, recipients, retention and transfer arrangements must be confirmed before this notice becomes final.

Application diagnostics.

Crash diagnostics and usage analytics have separate consent choices. The application uses Sentry and PostHog for their respective enabled scopes. Screenshot pixels, OCR text, clipboard contents, storage credentials and raw local file paths are not intended diagnostic payloads. In the current application, saved SDK consent changes apply after restart; quit from the tray and relaunch after changing them.

Support and future purchases.

Support may include the contact information, message and optional attachment you send. If paid sales open, the seller and the publisher's received order or license data will be described separately. This site does not currently accept payment-card information or paid orders.

Storage, transfers and retention.

The final notice must identify the countries and recipients relevant to the actual website, diagnostics, support and purchasing flows, including applicable Kazakhstan requirements and transfer safeguards. Data is kept only for an established purpose and required legal retention; specific periods or criteria must be documented for each category.

Your rights and choices.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Mandatory retention or other lawful grounds may limit a particular request. You may also complain to the competent regulator.

Updates.

The published policy will identify its effective date and describe material changes. A policy change does not turn a previously declined optional choice into consent.
