Privacy guide
Choose what Klips shares.
Editing and OCR run locally. Diagnostics, website data and an upload you choose are separate things.
Screenshots and OCR.
Normal image editing and text recognition happen on your PC. Klips does not upload a screenshot just because you captured it or ran OCR.
An upload is your action.
When you use S3 upload, the selected image is sent directly to your configured storage service. That service's location, access controls and privacy terms apply to the object.
Review diagnostics.
Settings separates crash diagnostics from usage analytics. The current application applies saved SDK consent changes after restart. After opting out, quit Klips from the tray and start it again so the saved choice is applied.
Website choices are separate.
Website cookie choices do not automatically change the desktop application's diagnostics settings. Likewise, opting out of app diagnostics does not disable an S3 upload you explicitly request.
Ask about your data.
The privacy policy separates website visits, support, orders and application behavior. Use the privacy-request route for information held by the publisher; local files you keep on your PC are not a publisher-hosted image library.
